The city of Austin has some of the tallest condominium like the 360 tower located around the business district. Austin maintains a good balance between education, nature, commerce and the arts. Shadow an OT for a few days to help you determine whether this is the career that you really want. Study the way people live and be proactive in taking part in sports so that you can study how they move and work because being an occupational therapist means hands-on help to make someone’s else’s life better. Get a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and take the board exam to be a registered OT. Since occupational therapists are everywhere from hospitals to the doctor’s office, you have to decide the kind of environment you want to work with.

If you want to give your all during the interview you have to do your homework about the position you are applying for, the company and the industry they are engaged in and even the hiring manager. By doing this, you will not only be remembered by the hiring manager but you will have a competitive edge and probably land the job you are looking for.
